Quality of Medical Care

My mother is still in the hospital. As of tomorrow, it will be a week. Her hospital stay has given me a chance to closely observe hospital care. I can't say that I've been very satisfied with what I've seen. There is a lot of inconsistency from shift to shift. Some of the nurses and assistants seem like very caring people, but some don't seem to care at all. I feel, in general, that no one would be paying any attention at all to my mother unless we asked people to do so. I know that a lot of you plan to go into the health services field. I hope you succeed in changing the system to make sure all patients get good care.

  1. I completely understand your concerns. Some of the nurses has no piti especioly to the olderly person.I wish sometimes if we could spend more time with our parents.Talking about Brooklyn,I didn't leave on Brigthon Beach.I use to leave on a beautiful place called Sheephead Bay.We were renting a nice 3 bedroom split appartment in the privet house, with a nice view on the ocean. The place called Emmons ave.But it was 12 years ago.It looks like I had better days before than now.

  2. I've never really been to Sheepshead Bay, but I've driven by. It looks really beautiful. Why did you decide to move?

  3. Im so sorry for your mother's illness. Besides, nursing care doesn't work well in the hospital. How hard it is for you! Please take good care of yourself in those difficulties.
